The Bhangra Generation

Writer/Director Producer R. Paul Dhillon’s documentary The Bhangra Generation will make its OMNI BC Premier on September 28 as part of the OMNI Doc Signature Series. The Bhangra Generation made its Ontario television debut on OMNI Toronto on Friday, August 29, 2008 and will air on the OMNI stations across the country throughout the year. The film is produced by Blueberry Street Films and Bobby Nagra.

“I’m very excited that my film will be finally making its west coast debut in September,” Dhillon said. “It has been a labour of love for me and many of the people who associated with the film, especially my stars Jazzy B., Indian Lion, Sonia Bassi and Raymon Bhullar. I think it’s going to be a real treat for Bhangra lovers everywhere.”
